Cancer is the #1 killer in the country. It will strike one in three Americans in our lifetime. Cancer does not discriminate. It can strike anyone from the very young to the very old and impacts not just the cancer patient but their family and friends. In the Twenty-first Century, there is no reason this should be. The key to finding a cure is research. Already, research for the cure has saved millions, but millions more will suffer and too many will die. Research takes money and while there are many organizations devoted to funding research to end cancer, it’s not enough.
The mission of this Festival and 5k Run is to connect the public directly with organizations fighting to cure cancer, raise awareness about their work and encourage your support.
We've given you three (3) options to partipate. Run or walk the awesome 5k course or sprint in either the individual or Family 4 Pack Fun Run. Any participation is appreciated.
